Wednesday, October 5, 2016 - Consistent with prior note. OK, my note of 4 years ago exuded a bit too much breathless enthusiasm, but nonetheless, I remain a fan of this wine, in this vintage. I've had mixed results with Krug wines over the years, sometimes going bananas over them, and sometimes growing tired before the first glass is finished, but this 2000, well, it's just lovely, across the board. I really dig the energy and freshness, it gets under my skin, in a good way; maybe it's just the potential, the thought of what it will become. No doubt, it will certainly outlive me, and I just turned 50. recommended
