Thursday, February 5, 2015 - Another Italian wine that really needs food to go along with it. I don't think I would enjoy drinking this wine all on its own. Big nose, some floral notes, hints of smoke and some big fruit notes. Good balance, low acidity. For the right price, this is a great wine. Galloni gave it a 93 in the Aug 2010 isssue of the WA. Its a blend of 80% Aglianico and 20% Piedirosso
