Thursday, May 21, 2015 - Fill 3/4 inch below foil. Cork soaked 1/2-3/4 way up. Still had that slight corky smell (not corked) when pulled, but it blew off quickly. Some maturity in the color. Not bad at all, and less disjointed, out of the bottle than previous bottles from this case. After an hour this was in great shape, drinking really well. Showing more of that ripe fruit and smooth, integrated, balanced finish I remember from my last first case. This was the first bottle from the new case showing more of what I expect of this wine. Hope the rest deliver. A-/A
