90 Points

Monday, November 9, 2009 - Opened and not decanted. Medium to dark purple color, with a brambly fruit and pepper nose. Classic ripe and briery zinfandel flavors of boysenberry, blackcurrant, herb, black pepper, and oak show on the palate. Just a bit of heat comes in. The flavors are big, but attractive for their persistence.
