Thursday, June 25, 2015 - A leaking bottle that I opened way too early - seepage aside, this still feels incredibly young with a tinge of sulfur lingering despite a short decant, and very fresh, youthful citrus, apple, and peachy fruit framed by floral and slate notes. Classic Prüm - moderate sweetness here, less than many modern Spätlese, and fantastic balance with remarkable lightness on the palate and no shortage of acidity. One of those Auslese that's perfect to drink with food, though I really need to be more patient with my remaining bottles, seepage or not.
