Thursday, September 27, 2007 - Healthy dark purple color. On the nose, tart cherry fruit, baking spice and coffee grounds. The palate is a mixture of tart red fruits and dark fruits. The coffee ground note is present on the palate as well. Overall, seems like it's not all together at this point - it's a little disjointed. The finish is excellent - powerful, nice tart fruit and long. I think this wine just needs more time to come around.
