Saturday, May 5, 2012 - This bottle, sourced from Premier Cru years ago and with neck level, was the best example of '70 Palmer I have had in years. Most of the others were somewhat dry and fruit-deficient. Not this one. Beautiful mulberry and violet fragrance was obvious although I wanted even more. Excellent mid palate presence and true finish. Almost delicate yet the beautiful soft berry fruit is exceptionally attractive. Very lively and no fade in the glass for over 2 hours.
