Thursday, May 7, 2015 - On election night we drank three of these. Two were 2014 disgorgements and one was from 2013. The 2014s were excellent showing a nice roundness on the palate (probably provided by a higher proportion of Pinot Meunier) but with a decent level of toastiness. The 2011 hadn't been stored perfectly but while the fruit had faded a little, there was a nice toastiness developing on the nose. The fourth bottle (another 2014 was drunk on the Friday evening when it was more a case of drowning our sorrows than celebrating.
