Friday, June 1, 2012 - Day 1: Color is as dark as night. Hard to believe it's a pinot. Quite a bit of barnyard and Dr. Pepper cola on the nose. The palate is rather heavy with blue and black fruit. The wine is a bit awkward. Day 2: The funk blew off, and the wine tasted better and was smoother. It's still a cola dominated wine.
