Saturday, October 25, 2014 - Decanted three hours. Dark garnet color in the glass. Nose of green peppers, vegetables, earth, and the slightest hint of dark fruit. The palate consisted primarily of green pepper. Once heavily aerated in the glass, the green pepper subsided a bit and you could get a sense for the dark fruit and 22 months in barrel.
