Sunday, August 26, 2007 - The Matthew's Station Vineyard is named for the Kunde's son. Tannat was planted in 1994 and 1995 in two blocks totaling 0.96 acres. Tasted double blind, this wine displayed aromas of mint, pine, evergreen and blue fruit. The palate reveals sweet minty fruit, though it has a medicinal undertone on the finish. Firm tannins.
