Saturday, May 16, 2015 - Old Bordeaux with Patrick back in town (Fabio's, NYC): I'm amazed at how young this still seems. Lots of rich, dark berried fruit that has a youthful sappiness to it, framed by cedar, foresty herbal and earthy notes, and tobacco. Feels surprisingly intense and rich on the palate when poured after the '70 Bordeaux, but really lovely.
