Friday, May 15, 2015 - Decanted for 3 plus hours, initially potent nose that reduced markably. It also lost its power though not its richness in the decanter, leaving it slighltly less interesting than I hoped for. Its very rare that a quality wine is better straight from the bottle but this could be the case with this one. Everything, taste, tannin and acidity softened, not unpleasant but I expected more. Possibly too sweet for my taste.
