Saturday, December 5, 2009 - There we go -- my last bottle and it finally lived up to the hype. Dark fruit, currant, some creamy oak that had a tobacco thing to it. Well structured and balanced, with polished tannins and nice acidity that gives great focus to the ripe fruit. Lots of bottle variation in these. Out of 4, one was too young, but two were just off.
