Wednesday, October 13, 2010 - This was decanted for 2 hours. Fading ruby at the edge and smelled like cocoa, smoke, tar and dark fruits. Tastes noted were currants, blackberries, bell pepper, eucalyptus, and cappuccino. The tannins were drying but not coarse and I think this will last another couple of years. The finish was medium to long and there was a little heat. We drank this as the last of 33 Chilean miners was brought to the surface by rescuers. Cheers Chile!
