Thursday, June 16, 2011 - Slight reduction on the nose. Beyond the reduction are dark cherries and cramberries as well as some birchbeer and molassas. On the palate, bright red fruits are apparent; round full flavors with surprising amounts of sap. A solid 2004 with no sense of herbaciiousness or greenness. The only nit is that this wine does not speak at all of its terroir, a common denominator among these modern style burgundies.
