Friday, December 20, 2013 - Sampled at the LCBO tasting bar. This sample came across to me as slightly candied, but this dissapated and seemingly evolved into something nicer: syrup coated cherries, candy floss, caramel, red plum, blueberry, baked strawberries. Palate reveals rich mentholated red and dark fruit. Low perceived sweet tannin. And a long red fruited and menthol finish. Has the stuffing to and should improve.
