Tuesday, November 5, 2013 - Black cherry color. Ripe plum, dark berries, olive (I usually find olives on the nose and palate of Justin Cabs), cured meats and a little mocha on the nose. Nice balance and the tannins have softened considerably with time. I drank four or five of these young and this is the best the wine has shown in terms of layers and complexity. Ripe plums, baking spices, black cherry and graham cracker on the palate. A very enjoyable wine.
