Saturday, January 5, 2013 - 30 minute decant before it was consumed with a ribeye and onion rings. Could've used some more decanting than I gave it. Color was slighly bricking dark violet. Very intriguiging nose with notes of cassis, iron, beef and a pleasant mineral-earthiness. In the mouth, drinks younger than it would appear from its color and age, has noticeable structure. Very tasty!
