Thursday, April 23, 2015 - One of my first Garagiste purchases, back when I thought I liked CdP. So with that bias in mind, my note may or may not be helpful to you...
Nose: some dirty muck, some red fruit, but no obvious barnyard (which I dislike in my wine). A little graham cracker? Plus the savory element unmistakable in the region.
Palate: a little sharp, the alcohol is pointed and overshadows much of the entry. I find the acid and the tannin sparring. Short finish. I'm not going to rate this, as I don't like CdP hardly at all, but for my own catalog I'd give this an 80.
