Saturday, July 19, 2008 - Raspberry, strawberry, and sassafrass aromas introduce a lithe wine that is lightweight but expressive. Racy, with austere raspberry and tart cherry flavors and lingering acidity. The fruit flavors are not complex, but are focused. Benchmark Russian River Valley pinor noir. Outstanding for the vintage.
