Saturday, May 16, 2015 - Very nice bottle of layered Barbera with age on it. Quite pleased. Tannins and acidity in check to make a vibrant, food friendly, yet pleasant glass of dark red vino. Some wood notes, varietal and earth notes, pretty fruit over earth. Again, it could go either way, but probably better with food. A bottle in a good spot. First one from this producer, but I will seek it out again. Thumbs up.
