Sunday, June 5, 2011 - Fresh fruit, then a dark complexity of blackcurrents and a hint of raspberries, ending in a long acidic finish. I'm familiar with Lanessan from the 2005 vintage; this one is more complex, age no doubt, but both are lively. I think the 2001 is a very good every day Bordeaux , and comes into its own with food.
