On the palate red and black currant, tobacco, vanilla, spice, green pepper. Finishes with a strong tannic grip balanced by nice acidity. There was definitely infanticide committed here tonight. Outstanding wine. Good value, even at release price. Hold at least five years. Only 500 cases produced, which will make it very hard to find more at the $50 price point I paid.
