Saturday, August 17, 2013 - Decanted 1 hr, recorked for 4 hours, and then decanted again at restaurant. Exquisitely exciting aromatics, perfuming the entire room during the initial decant. Lots of cassis, flowers, and dark cherry. The tannins are substantial, but melted away when chasing a big bite of steak. Then the fruit was beautifully revealed with a blast of bright ripe plum. Next bottle 2017. A point added for exciting potential.
