Saturday, February 28, 2015 - After a 1 hour decant the wine had more to offer. Double decanted and served after 5 hours decanted with a prime ribeye. This was the groups wine of the night- layers of dark red fruit, sweet spice notes, sweet tobacco, with some spice and, after some time, well integrated tannins through a long finish. Very nice with a long decant, might peak in 5-10 years but will drink well for at least another 20+. Absolutely delicious with the prime ribeye.
