Thursday, January 21, 2010 - 2000 Bordeaux, 1999 Pierre Morlet (Porto Leggero): Dark fruit, earth driven nose, something plastic-y in the mid-palate and significant acidity. With some time in the glass, spices appeared on the nose in abundance. This was served pop and pour and gave immediate pleasure. This was the wine of the night.
