Dark pit fruit plums and some balsamic notes. With extended decant the fruit gains a little sweetness and subtelty.While overall this is a tannin laden wine which will ideally benefit from rich food or red meat, the tannins add a nice structure and the finish is more complex than most wines in this price range. This may turn out to be even better with a few more years in bottle. Good QPR.
