Sunday, March 7, 2010 - i was expecting more from this wine. while i've rarely found Lynch Bages to be thought provoking or elegant (the 85 is an exception in my experience), i was at least expecting a flamboyant show of fruit and power from this vintage. it's a very tight wine that maybe i need to decant longer, but i've experienced other 2000s that are incredibly appealing (Tertre Roteboeuf), and i've tasted young Lynch Bages in the past (the 89 and 90) which were expressive at a similar or younger age.
