Saturday, April 7, 2012 - Showed its class as soon as it was opened but evolved over the next hour in carafe. Deep purple color with very little sign of aging. This wine is still a baby. Dense but elegant cassis fruit with a judicious caress of oak. Aromas of cigar box, sweet spice, tar, and coffee. A long, lusious finish with firm but ripe integrated tannins. Pretty close to perfect.
