Saturday, September 27, 2014 - This needs time, hopefully. Or just a bad bottle. Drank next to a heitz 2001 Martha's Vineyard. The heitz left it in the dust in every respect.
10/9/2014 10:12:00 AM - Please pardon my comment, but your comparison of this 14 year old Bordeaux to the fruit forwardness and oak impregnation of a HMV is not a relative comparison and misleading to someone who is considering spending 200 bucks on this well deserving wine.
10/9/2014 12:03:00 PM - That is absolutely fair. Mine was an absolute comparison of two wines at the time of drinking. but i have to say that the LB was really disappointing to me given the bottle age. and yes i have read all the comments about 2000 bordeaux being closed etc, but nevertheless it should have performed better.
