94 Points

Sunday, February 17, 2013 - Decanted for 30 minute, it really helped. Very full nose of red fruit and some black fruit, with fanatastic earthy notes and licorice, that evolve as the wine sits in the glass. The palate is still a bit tight, but again, opens up after 5-10 minutes to reveal greatness: a mixture of cherries and strawberry, liquor, some minty mineral notes, cedar and plum. Sweet beautiful tanins. A very long elegant finish, liquor. This is a rare Brunate that can be drank as early as now, 15-16 years old and be enjoyed. It will improve in the next 5-10 years probably. Drink Now-2023, 94 points now, maybe more later.
