Wednesday, August 6, 2014 - Tasted blind, deep opaque core with crimson hue. Ripe fruits nose, blackberry, plenty of roasted element and slightly jammy but mellowed.
Palate not far from the nose suggest, soft and mellowed with plenty of sweet fruits, roasted coffee, blackberry, dark cherry, some pruney character and toasty oak. Long finish with soft tannins. Drinking well now.
I did not get the vintage correct and to my surprised it has developed further from my last tasting 2 years ago to show a smooth and supple palate and alcohol well contain this time.
