Monday, August 11, 2014 - Bright red on appearance. Nose was very minerally, lots of stone and acid. You could barely detect any fruits. On the palate, the wine was very austere, with very slight fruit but basically just so acidic. This was the essence of the wine, even after 2 hours. Perhaps something you would call a "classic" burgundy. There was good expression of the terroir, but the lack of fruits made it hard to enjoy.
