Sunday, September 7, 2014 - Manky cork and base neck fill. Singular nose of cherry, Lipton's iced tea, forest understory, old tobacco, a touch of balsamic. Very complex nose, much leaner palate with some sweet strawberry, cranberry, coffee, not rusty and very fresh. Enhanced by roasted lamb. Delightful old wine. Emotionally I'd score this wine much higher.
