Friday, October 2, 2009 - This was a very enjoyable bottle of chardonnay. The nose was clean, chardonnay fruit with apples and lemon. It really excels in the mouth because of its expansive, crisp fruit but the oak is keenly integrated to create a package of completeness. The finish is long and clean with some mineral notes. Overall, this is a great style that could even age for a few more years without falling apart.
