Wednesday, April 3, 2013 - This was a glass pour at Fig in Charleston (superb restaurant with a very thoughtful and reasonable wine list). A bit cloudy and definitely smelled like an old wine with leather, earth and goudron. I would have guessed this was old Nebbiolo with a little less spine than most. Some Christmas spice character emerged with time. This is definitely better than the 1989 I had recently, but I have preferred the younger versions (ie 1998).
