Sunday, July 28, 2013 - Glorious old Rioja that is quite structured and needed a good 2 hrs decanted to start showing itself. Then delicious tangy and very earthy cherry fruit is followed by delicate flavors of old leathers and spices. Still plenty of stuffing here although it smells and tastes much like an ethereal Burgundy. Fascinating to drink.
