95 Points

Tuesday, May 27, 2014 - Latricières-Chambertin Dinner (Paris Club - Chicago IL): Open 2+ hours before serving single blind in Leroy 1995-2001 Latricieres flight. Intense berry and cherry aromas, mostly black fruit with some red hints. Again mostly black fruit flavors with lots of power and ever-so-slightly backward and firm today. Not sure if I preferred this or the 2000 today, but this was better in terms of long-term potential. slightly better vs another bottle tried last year.

5/28/2014 8:18:00 PM - Any thoughts on peak drinking for this (I tend to like my Burgs very mature)? I've got 2 bottles and I don't want to pop one just for the hell of it.
