Monday, September 20, 2010 - Strange, offputting sweetness when you first open it. But that's just because the wine needs time to breathe. If you decant for about 30-60 minutes, a dark, brooding WA cab comes to life, with plenty of round fruit flavors and nice minerality. But be careful, it will start to become flat again after about 2 hr. out of the bottle. Great with a casual steak on a weekday night.
