Sunday, December 30, 2012 - This is a bit of disappointment after a wonderful La Grande Rue 2006 two days ago. Obviously in completely different leagues. Good nose. Notes of red cherry, raspberry, strawberry with hints of oak. Initially it seems to be a bit thin and "mature" for a young Burgundy, soft tannins. Higher acidity than La Grande Rue, not as balance overall. It puts on more weight over the 2 hours meal but still with elevated acidity level. Will give this a miss. 90-91 pts.
