Wednesday, July 23, 2014 - See note from November 2008. Not sure why I am sitting on these, as they were running out of steam five years ago. Fine to drink, and even interesting at first, but you get bored quickly and want to move on to something with a bit more life. Definitely drink now.

    7/25/2014 1:57:00 PM - If you don't mind a suggestion...I have found that with older Cali Cabs especially from the 80's, that they are good after decanting then close up for a couple hours after that and then become sometimes great at the 3-6 hour mark (or longer in the cases of Diamond Creek and Chateau Montelena). On next bottle, try waiting 4 hours with part of a bottle and see if you don't have a similar experience...cheers!
