Tuesday, April 15, 2008 - All very lavish and new-worldy on the nose; warm ripe blackberry fruits and oak. A bit smokier on the palate, but still ripe and curranty, with touch of earth. A warm finish to a clunky palate - only the strong gritty tannins indicate its origin. May age OK medium term, but will likely provide most pleasure young.
