Thursday, January 8, 2009 - On the nose, I find pears, a tad of rosemary (?) which is interesting, dried figs, and a good dose of botrytis (which is normal). On the palate, notes of pears strike first. Then a suitable amount of sugar, not too syrupy. At the end a good amount of acidity and biterness, reminding me of Seville oranges. The finish is relatively short and not as complex as other botrytis wines. Good QPR nonetheless.
