Tuesday, December 9, 2014 - When we first opened this five hours ago, I got big overly ripe and heavily extracted fruit like zin, but after four hours the fruit blew off and I'm left with a red fruit forward wine sadly with strong, almost soapy tannins in the late body to finish. This has been a strange path of development with the wine. Maybe it's just developing strangely with a double peak, but this wine is not drinking well here. I'll wait for another.
