Saturday, March 28, 2015 - Fully ready, quite lovely nose. Dark fruit, plum, nuts, ink and mineral. Subtle hints of iron. Good complexity and good depth. Some disturbing hints of green peppers and dried herbs.
Medium-fullish body. Good fruit attack with plum, integrated oak, and tobacco. Slightly harsh tannins, though. A bit lean on the finish. And a bit short. The vintage shows in the palate.
Compared to both 2007 Evangile and Conseillante (tasted 1 and 2 years ago), this Pomerol made a weaker impression. Drink while fruit lasts.
