Ok, here I think the aromatics fit WA state and also give you more than the other Longshadows I have thus far tasted -- Feather, Pirouette and Saggi. Mineral, sage, tobacco, bright blue fruits and seemingly more harmonious.

Shows its acid on the palate -- more "angular" Nate says, and I think he has nailed it. "The Syrah really pops" and again, I completely agree with that. Does it the duality of the wines well. More agressive than Buty's Redivivia. Angular, punchy, and maybe not for everyone. But I like it. At $49 it is just barely playing in the ball park. Would be much better at $29.
