Saturday, January 23, 2016 - Brick with a pale rim. Classic Pinot nose with a mix of red fruit and rose petals, intermingled with a hint of "farm-yard". Not a complex bouquet, but a very pleasant one. Palate is round and fruity, slightly dry but not tannic, with a slight spicy/peppery feel on the medium length finish. Didn't expect too much from this somewhat unloved GC, but was pleasantly surprised.
