Wednesday, July 16, 2014 - Decanted with a small amount of sediment. Tight nose. Deep and concentrated crimson red. Nose was rich with currants, vanilla and pencil lead. Lush, silky, sexy wine on the palette. Minute grippy tannins and medium acidity. Currants, oak, graphite, eucalyptus and mint.

This wine was either in a dumb phase or just needs more time in the decanter. All the parts are there but it's just a little flabby. Only one left and I've giving it at least 5 more years.
