Sunday, July 15, 2007 - Color is dark garnet to the rim. Nose shows cassis, tar, hint of pepper, and a touch of heat. On the palate, chewy dark fruit at the fore framed by earth, tar and smoke. Bit too acidic at this point, but overall fairly good. Should unwind over time.
